Statement of Faith

I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is inerrant, infallible, and the final authority in life and faith. (2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:19-21, Hebrews 4:12,13)

I believe in one God, existing eternally in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are equal in essence but unique in function. (Genesis 1:1,2,26,27; John 3:16; John 15:26)

I believe the only way of salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ—his substitutionary sacrifice on the cross. That faith is through his grace alone and by no merit or works of my own. (Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8,9)

I believe that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was buried, rose from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of the Father, where he lives forever to make intercession for believers. He will return to earth to take believers to heaven where they will enjoy eternity. (1 Corinthians 1:1-4; Hebrews 7:25; John 14:2,3)

I believe the Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, seals, comforts, and empowers believers. It is through the Holy Spirit believers can understand God’s Word. (John 14:26; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13)
